Dashboard Ornaments (for/from the road)

For the last few months I’ve been back on tour in my homeland of the good ol UK.

So many months driving around this Island from Scotland to Cornwall and even a while on the island of Jersey.

Shortly before I set off on the Scotland leg of the tour I was given a spider plant by my good friends Kirsty and Josh. Now I’ve never been one for green fingers but It has to be said it really does make a big difference having another living being sharing the journey with me. And since this photo was taken many more leaves and stalks have sprouted out across the inside front of my van.

And next to the plant sits a calender. But no ordinary calendar as this was present bought for me by my lovely girlfriend when we were both touring around Japan together. It’s the character of no face or Kaonashi from one of my favourite films of all time Spirited Away.
