We will return to play 2 shows over the next couple of weeks:

For any folks who have not heard of my band Here’s a a bit of info and some videos:
We formed originally in 1998 with Leon Camfield, Richard Porter and Scott Harrison. In 2001 Julia Bell joined what became the line up that still exists today.
We released our first 4 track EP in 2000.
Our second EP got released in 2001 and led to us getting a deal with RiverRun Records.
RiverRun released two discs with us. The Single ‘Overhanging’.
And The Album ‘When You’re Not Busy’
You can hear live recordings of us on HERE and HERE
Having rehearsed for the first time in a long time today I can honestly say I can’t wait 🙂
Our last show took place in Camden town early into 2014, Here’s a couple of photos from that night.
All shots taken by Porthole Photography.
If anyone wants any of our music please message me and I’ll endeavour to send you some mp3’s.

Back in 2012 I put out the 4th part of a 4 part project on Double Gatefold Vinyl LP (with a CD included). Limited to 444 copies over half have now sold. To pick up your own copy for £20 (including P&P) you can order from here: http://goforthbrightscenic.bigcartel.com/product/go-fourth-bright-scenic-2×12-lp
That album itself was a long time in the making when recording originally begun 4 years before its eventual completion in 2012. The songs and themes are as such that only really one person left in their own space for as long as it takes to conclude the process; was the only way this album was ever going to work.
The album has slowly garnered an appreciation as people have written to me with support and encouragement.
Producer Russ Russell picked up a copy at a show on the 2015 UK tour and later contacted me to say he is “Loving the Vinyl” describing it as “Very Cool” & “Genius”. This backs up many positive words by french venue Le Grattoir owner Pascal Muller who described the album as “For me, one of the most beautiful albums that I was able to listen to in 2014″.
In Japan the album was described by Chisuzu of the venue Toppers in Chiba emailed to say “We are enjoying your vinyl” and went onto elaborate it as being partly a Psychedelic experience coupled with a Documentary. This is due to a number of interviews collected and included in the recordings.
Anyway I will stop rambling onward and simply say I am overjoyed to hear the album is not reaching deaf ears. It was a mighty undertaking getting the album finished and pressed and to find it is not reaching deaf ears changes so much.
Thank you to all for the support.

Live music from about 9pm
It’s been over 3 years since I last released something new.
However 3 albums were made available for the first time by other artists who had asked me to contribute to their work.
Zero Call
November 26th saw the 1st full length album of Electro group from Italy ‘Zero Call‘. We had collaborated back in 2012 with a track called ‘This College Year’. https://stuartoconnor.bandcamp.com/track/this-college-year-feat-zero-call
Now as 2015 wraps up it’s a pleasure to share this new collaboration.
The song is called ‘Vertebrae’ and was recorded early in 2015.
It is taken from the album ‘Soft Power’. Released through Future City Records.
It can be bought in it’s entirety from these links digitally but hold off if you’re a physical music fan because it will see the light of day in a couple of weeks on 12″ Vinyl.

Haco
I had discovered Haco’s music around the time I became professional. It became a soundtrack to my earliest touring memories and in 2010 I was lucky enough to collaborate with her at a concert in Kobe.
This led to a distance collaboration where she reworked and sampled four of my songs into her own album ‘Secret Garden’ Released through Nuovo Immigrato Label. Earlier this year she returned to the UK and we performed tracks from the record.
This is one of the tracks from Secret Garden with a beautiful video by Karen Vanderborght.
Stevie Jones and the Wildfires
Also 2015 saw the release of a long awaited album by UK group Stevie Jones and the Wildfires. I have known Stevie through years of gigging and he remains one of the hardest working musicians. I stopped by in the studio with him and his band back in 2014. Completion of the album occurred in 2015 and it saw it’s release back in October.
His album is called ‘Stratigraphic Heart’ and I play on 2 tracks either on guitar or chimes.
Also the album was co produced by Russ Russell who has worked with bands such as Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, The Wildhearts, The Exploited, The Ga Ga’s, Sikth, Amorphis & New Model Army to name a few.
Here’s a video of some of the making of the album as a part of a pledge campaign Stevie started last year:

Solo Work
As for my solo work I did re-release 2 albums which had sold out in 2013. They were parts 1 & 3 of the 4 album project – ‘Go Forth Bright Scenic‘.
The Electronic album ‘Go’ was originally on a USB Pen stick and is now out on CD and the more singer acoustic ‘Bright’ was originally released on tape cassette but now also sees the light of day on CD.
