It give me great pleasure to be returning to perform in London in Early August. I will be performing as a part of the Unity Festival on a stage organised by the good people at Impact. I will also be performing as a member of the band ‘The Impact’ which is a group performing original music written by adults with learning difficulties. The Impact have just released their debut album.
Music will be taking place throughout the day so please contact the number on the poster for specifics.
I have worked with Impact randomly many times over the last decade.
When 1st asked to get involved it was in the form of playing my own music for a fund raiser. However as time went by I begun to work with the guys collaborating musically with them.
This year has seen us release not 1 but 2 albums. They have taken a while to come together but it gives me great pride to say all tracks on both albums are totally original compositions.
We first starting working together more creatively in 2015 on the show ‘I Shot the Sheriff’ When Myself and Sam Willoughby put together the band in order to write music for the Reggae Western.
During Rehearsals for ‘I Shot The Sheriff’ with Scott
Aside from covering some obligatory Bob Marley we also came up with a few of our own numbers.
In 2016 we began playing more public performances.
‘The Impact’ performing at the Perival Festival in 2016.
Following a successful flurry of shows through out 2016 we also worked on the music for adaptation of Shakespeare’ ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
On stage with Chris and Gerald of the Impact.
And so it gives me great pleasure to be able to present the Impact album to the world.
I am so proud of all the guys and gals who helped to make it what it is and especially thankful to Sam Willoughby for all his production skills.
Some songs from the album have been made into music videos also filmed and edited but members of the band.
Here is a new video for the song “Monster in the house”
The video was directed by Francis Mughan and shot by Sam Willoughby.
Also here is a new video for the song “Good Friends”.

As a part of this performance and to help with the many set and costume changes involved Sam Willioughby and myself were asked to contribute some performances.
This gave me a rare chance to try out a new tune I’ve written on Piano and to make things even better I have to fortune to be joined by multi instrumentalist Sam on Drums.
Here’s a vid from our rehearsals:
Also below is a tune written by Sam with me joining him on Keys from one of the performances:
