In recent months I have been perfroming many shows in France with Atapa. She is a French musician and multi instrumentalist who has been performing her own material for a number of years. We have decided to collaborate live sharing the stage for each others compositions.

Thus far we have played 4 shows with another 9 scheduled for the next few months.

Two live recordings have been recorded and uploaded to you tube from a couple of the first shows.

First one is a song of mine called ‘Varit’ recorded at the Strong Street Pub in Chauffailles on 27 novembre 2021:

The second Video was recorded at a private concert on 2/1/22 and is a song of Atapa’s calles ‘Cet Amour Evident’

0 Indoor Market – St Julien De Jonzy – France

I am playing the monthly market at St Julien De Jonzy which will be taking place indoors as the season enters winter.

I will be playing from about 18:00 for roughly 2 hours.

There will be market stalls and a bar as well as cooked food available.

Over the next few weeks I will be performing each weekend with Atapa who is a French musician and multi Instrumentalist and composer. I heard her album Ode A La Vie earlier this year and have invited her to share the billing and the stage with me for 4 shows running up to Christmas.

While on the road promoting my 3rd album ‘Good Times with Evil’ I was approached by The Web Show who happened to be filming in Thailand at the time. They interviewed me and made this short film about me being on tour.

This weeks From the Vaults takes me back to a show in one of my favourite venues. Club 85 – Hitchin.

This was a song that didn’t see a release until 2012 but was performed for years before hand. I started to choose to put a loop jam in the middle of it. This show kinda went into a bit of psychedelic place and the Director of the video Mark Garvey took it there with the visuals too.

0 From the Vaults: Designed To Stop (With Full Band – ROTW Festival 2009)

Over the next few months I will be digging out various live videos and sharing them Via Youtube.

This is the first one: A song from my first album performed with a one off 6 piece band of Chris Hollis (Drums), Leon Camfield (Percussion & Electronic Percussion), Riad Abji (Double Bass), Vicky Flint (Trumpet) and the late great Dave Smale (Keys).

Big thanks also to Mark Garvey who filmed and edited this all those years back and to Stuart Alexander who provided the visuals for the back drop screen.
