0 The Realignment Session is Here! (First new material since 2012)

I am joined by a wonderful cast of international musicians from Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Czech Republic and the UK.

The album was recorded live in 1 day over 2 complete performances and everything you hear was performed live with a loop station and no use of backing tracks. Performing it through was incredibly complex but rewarding and it was different each time. It really was a labour of love and an ambitious struggle to reach this point. Also it wasn’t helped that I damaged my left hand in a cycling accident 6 days before. But it all came together on the day (Just about) 🙂

0 Performing with ‘The Impact’ at Club 85 – Hitchin this Friday (2nd March)

I have had the pleasure to work with Impact (based down in West London) for a number of years including many wonderful shows they have staged. The video below gives an example of where I was able to bring my knowledge of live looping into the world of visual technology which allowed the service users to create their own audio and visual experience.

But this week there will be a chance for me to venture to one of my favourite venues with a band that has come from working with these driven and talented individuals.

Over 2014 and 15 we put together a band called the ‘good ol boys’ as a part of a wild west set play we were working on. This grew into a band called ‘The Impact’. We went on to write and record our own album ‘In Our World’ which was released last year.

Since the release of the album the band have been keen to play more gigs and further a field. So I contacted my friends at the wonderful venue Club 85 and they have booked the band in for this Friday (2nd March -2018).

Entry will be £5 and the band will perform for 45 mins aswell as other acts.

0 Cornwall Calling!!!

This Saturday sees me begin my run of shows in Cornwall.

Cornwall is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and it has always brought me great joy to travel and perform in the county.

It’s located in the deep south west of england and is known for its beautiful landscapes and rural towns:

It is partly due to all these reasons that I have booked myself a good run of shows keeping me in the area generally for about 3 weeks.

The Process of performing live has become ever more complicated as the journey has continued.

I used to simply have one set up. Guitar/ Vocal

That was it!

But first came the loop station and then all manor of instruments followed.
